Funeral service for Grady Weathers, 81, will be Tuesday, March 20, at 11 a.m. at Curtis and Son North Chapel with the Rev. Jackie Davison, the Rev. Bill Lutz, and the Rev. Jimmie Dale Abrams officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Cemetery. Mr. Weathers died Saturday, March 17, 2007 at Coosa Valley Medical Center. He was a longtime resident of Sylacauga; Veteran of WWII serving in the Navy; retired truck driver for Avondale Mils; and a native of Sycamore. He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Myrtice Weathers of Sylacauga; daughter, Carolyn Davis of Sylacauga; two sons, Larry Weathers of Sylacauga and Bruce Weathers of Dadeville; 12 grandchildren; and two sisters, Sarah Honeycutt of Sylacauga and Onzel Arnold of Hartselle.
Pallbearers will be Garrett Weathers, Ryan Weathers, Luke Davis, Mark Davis, Ryan Sexton, Mike Barnette, Sherrill Weathers, and Wendal Weathers. Curtis and Son Funeral Home North Chapel will direct the service.
